Electricity, Programming, Robot
Programming:
To learn python we used code academy. We used Python to build a base for programing . It's supposed to take 13 hours but it took me 40 hours to finish. I had allot of fun.
Concepts of Programming
Variable-stores a piece of data
Strings - a data type that can contain letters, numbers, and symbols.
Exponents = you use **.
Editor- Where you write code on python
Functions - a method in code, entered into the code by defining it.
Electricity:
This project was pretty easy. We learned about how electricity works. The first couple of weeks we used alligator clips and resistors then we went to a breadboard, pentameters and small wires.
Key Concepts:
Circuit- conductive wires in a complete conection+ with a power source.
Current- flow of electricity, stays the same until it gets split when/if bulbs are in parallel.
Voltage- power that electricity gives off push/pull of electricity.
Parallel- are dependent when they are in series with another set of parallel circuits Formula is 1/rtotal= 1/r1= 1/r2 + 1/r3 + 1/rn.
Open Circuit- incomplete or broken circuit.
Closed Circuit- complete and not a broken circuit.
Kirchoff's First Rule- the total current out of a node equal to the total of current into the node.
Review:
The programming took a long time for me to complete but i finished late because I used my time to work on other projects. The electricity project was fun to learn about. The things i learned from these projects. I learned to keep pushing towards the end goal and not get distracted. I learned that i should pay allot more attention to detail . I could have been more on topic and not moving around the room. I also learned that I need to read instructions closer to get a better end result
