REFLECTION.
overall we were able to work and communicate easily which helped us get done faster and creat a good working project. What we could have done better is to be more organized about our presentation. I learned that when people work together they get done faster and have a better result. I learned how electric currents work and how to control them. I need to work on speaking in front of an audience. I also need to not be as implosive in getting things for the project we might not use this happened when we kept switching our idea. When we all chipped in to help with the wrapping of the wire helped us wrap it neater and faster. When we were done with what we were doing that day we messed around instead of calling companies or testing it more.

Electrical currents is the rate of charge flow past a given point in an electric circuit. that is incorporated in the idea of our project. The Switch seperates the currents flow when it is off but reconnects it and let's the current flow.
Watt-Is the SI unit of power that is equivalent to one joule per second,. That applied to our project measures the rate of energy transferred. In our project we measured in kilowatts that is equal to 1000 watts.
Engineering design cycle- First we identified the need which was standby energy from devises
wasting energy. We then researched the problem and we found that a lot of the energy used by an appliance is from standby. Next we developed a solution which was to create a energy saving switch. We chose the best solution out of five which was to do the switch. We then built our prototype. Then we tested it and it worked the first time. We then communicated the design.
